SOHO BUND

This project is on the junction of the historic Rock or South Bund area adjacent to the Yu Yuan Park. The building design is based on a series of overlapping planes creating a strong East - West movement.

SOHO FUXING ROAD

SOHO Fuxing Plaza is on the edge of the acclaimed Xintiandi development and central to other retail village districts including the Sinan Mansions, Bridge 8 and Tianzifang.

 

KANGJU RETAIL AND LIFESTYLE CENTRE

Kangju Retail is part of a larger development complex comprising retail, open space and residential. On a broader scale, the park consolidates all the parts into a lifestyle community catering for living, working, recreation and exercise.

Wulin Times

Times Plaza extends Wulin Palace to a mixed-use development. The green buffer creates continuity along the elevated road and guides people to the office and retail facilities. The design creates an elegant carpet to integrate the entries and functional openings and EVA circulation. 

 

RF5 HONGQIAO

R&F No.5 is a 6 ha Green office park project in Shanghai. The main challenge of this project was to create a strong identity for this space. This project reacts to new visions of labour environments, which provide an affectively engaging, stimulating space that facilitates creativity. iPD worked closely with the architect to achieve Class A Green Building certification for this project. 

 

CHEN AVENUE 

Chen Avenue is the vibrant hub of the Gouzhang development. The retail street is the anchor space providing the main axis linkage and point of arrival for the adjacent canal waterfront and residential community. 

 

FORTE ONE CENTRE

The Forte development is located in a new district of Gongsu in Hangzhou. The site is located at a juncture of major highways, a bus terminus, and subway station and straddles the main entry road to the new district.

Wulin Palace

The apartments at Wulin Palace are a haven of tranquillity in an otherwise hectic urban environment. iPD was responsible for a residential landscape that reflects and caters to the outdoor social and lifestyle needs of the city while creating a pleasant and attractive environment.

 

KANGJU RESIDENTIAL

Kangju community presents a new paradigm for water sensitive community landscape development. 


 

Zhejiang Residential

Zhijiang residential is located in Hangzhou, near the iconic Xihu Lake and Zhijiang tourism area. For this project, iPD created an indoor and outdoor gallery venue which the visual and spatial prompts for a creative and inspirational experience. 

 

 

 

Fantasia Community

At the intersection of design principles and various levels of elevation and slope, we propose a lifestyle of “LOHAS” for the target client. This lifestyle celebrates a natural, healthy, and sophisticated attitude with attention to the environment and health, advocating sustainable development.

 

Buena Vista

Buena Vista, on the mountain slopes above Boan, incorporates infrastructure elements with a formative impact on the landscape character. iPD saw this as an opportunity to establish an overall planning and design framework the reflected this integrated landscape character – creating a unique place through a creative design approach.

 

Vanke Gouzhuang Residential

The residential development is part of a larger community comprising a retail street and canal waterfront open space.

Wanda Reign is Wanda’s new seven star hotel and performance centre in Wuhan.

This project is located close to the Qianjiang River and the historic Beijing Canal. 

 

KAISA PENINSULA RESORT

Kaisa Peninsula Resort extends the holiday lifestyle and character of the scenic Dapeng area. This project is a mixture of hotel, holiday apartments and commercial development with the landscape program and design tailored to the resort style.

Sichang was an existing canal within the western district of Kunshan.  The landscape framework sought to improve health, education and community reference. 

 

Yangchen Lake Waterfront

YCL Waterfront completes the landscape improvement along the South area of Yangcheng Lake. Together with Maanshan Park, Wetland Park and the Organic Farm the waterfront creates a unique destination. 

 

LOTUSLAKE PARK

Lotuslake Park celebrates the importance of water and music in the Kunshan community through landscape expression.

Qianjin Road

Qianjin Road is a planned road, in expectation of the community to come. It was designed to function as the main artery to service the western district of Kunshan. Projecting the trends of transportation development (BRT, light rail, bicycle) and considering other benchmarks for successful community based roads, iPD set out to create an environment that can become a place where social functions can be restored and the road can once more be a vibrant place.

 

Jaize Streetscape

Huahai Boulevard is the new central north and south road in Jiaze, connecting the developing agriculture park, nursery market, and international rose garden. 

 

QIANJIN ROAD (EAST) - ECOLANE

The landscape design for the eastern portion therefore presents a major opportunity to establish a paradigm and showcase for future landscape design that incorporates the principles of “green infrastructure” in line with ecological principles prescribed for sponge/sustainable cities. 

 

KUNSHAN RINGROAD LANDSCAPE DESIGN

The design focused mainly on the creation of an interconnected ecological and functional landscape. Parks were designed to provide habitat for birds and to take water from adjacent canals and improve water quality with treatment wetlands.

Kunshan open space framework

It was apparent that with the advent of the Ring road project that there was no overall framework for Kunshan Open Space System to be able to determine or inform the integration of the road with the urban fabric.

Using the Open Space Framework iPD was then able to identify opportunities and constraints at each interface with open space, water system and infrastructure, develop an appropriate short and long term strategy to direct the design of the landscape reserve along the road.
