Kaisa Shenyang Center will become a landmark mixed-use development on Shenyang’s most prestigious street, Qingnian Main Road, the city’s golden corridor. At the heart of the civic, culture, and commercial district, Kaisa Center presents a unique curving and fluid architecture façade. To respond its iconic building configuration, the landscape design aims at creating a base or “plate” allowing the building to “float”, focusing on subtle changes and transitions to reflect changes In the building façade and use. The plate is to be simple, elegant yet exciting.
