SOHO BUND

This project is on the junction of the historic Rock or South Bund area adjacent to the Yu Yuan Park. The building design is based on a series of overlapping planes creating a strong East - West movement.

Based on this blank space of urban life, we aim to create a ‘Mall + Park + Block’ integrated public space, a friendly urban paradise for the residents of Songshan Lake. The design is based on this concept, combined with the commercial positioning, and focuses on the central axis corridor formed by the building layout between the plots.

KANGJU RETAIL AND LIFESTYLE CENTRE

Kangju Retail is part of a larger development complex comprising retail, open space and residential. On a broader scale, the park consolidates all the parts into a lifestyle community catering for living, working, recreation and exercise.

RF5 HONGQIAO

R&F No.5 is a 6 ha Green office park project in Shanghai. The main challenge of this project was to create a strong identity for this space. This project reacts to new visions of labour environments, which provide an affectively engaging, stimulating space that facilitates creativity. iPD worked closely with the architect to achieve Class A Green Building certification for this project. 

CHEN AVENUE 

Chen Avenue is the vibrant hub of the Gouzhang development. The retail street is the anchor space providing the main axis linkage and point of arrival for the adjacent canal waterfront and residential community. 

FORTE ONE CENTRE

The Forte development is located in a new district of Gongsu in Hangzhou. The site is located at a juncture of major highways, a bus terminus, and subway station and straddles the main entry road to the new district.

WEALTH MANSION

We are trying to create a livable, an edge where inside and outside is very blur. A landscape gives you privacy but also gives you open group community facilities.

The apartments at Wulin Palace are a haven of tranquillity in an otherwise hectic urban environment. iPD was responsible for a residential landscape that reflects and caters to the outdoor social and lifestyle needs of the city while creating a pleasant and attractive environment.

Sunac Lanxi Grand View is located in the modern new district of Putian. Although it is far from the well-known cultural areas, it is nestled on the banks of Mulan Creek and overlooks Hugong Mountain. As such, this development makes important reference to both Putian’s cultural heritage and its new image.

Constitution Park is located in the cultural centre of downtown Kunshan, home to the metropolitan government buildings and plaza as well as the science museum and city park. The park is designed to offer a spatial experience of the history and spirit of the Chinese constitution and its relevance to Kunshan and its citizens. 

Sichang Park South

Sichang was an existing canal within the western district of Kunshan.  The landscape framework sought to improve health, education and community reference. 

Yangchen Lake Waterfront

YCL Waterfront completes the landscape improvement along the South area of Yangcheng Lake. Together with Maanshan Park, Wetland Park and the Organic Farm the waterfront creates a unique destination.

The Miaojing River is located in the entire ecological framework system of Kunshan, which is the Miaojing Taicang Ecological Landscape Corridor.

Guangming SCIENCE PARK

Guangming Central Science Park is located in Guangming District, Shenzhen, in the core area of Guangming Science City.

KUNSHAN RINGROAD LANDSCAPE DESIGN

The design focused mainly on the creation of an interconnected ecological and functional landscape. Parks were designed to provide habitat for birds and to take water from adjacent canals and improve water quality with treatment wetlands.

Qianjin Road

Qianjin Road is a planned road, in expectation of the community to come. It was designed to function as the main artery to service the western district of Kunshan. Projecting the trends of transportation development (BRT, light rail, bicycle) and considering other benchmarks for successful community based roads, iPD set out to create an environment that can become a place where social functions can be restored and the road can once more be a vibrant place.

Huahai Boulevard is the new central north and south road in Jiaze, connecting the developing agriculture park, nursery market, and international rose garden.

It was apparent that with the advent of the Ring road project that there was no overall framework for Kunshan Open Space System to be able to determine or inform the integration of the road with the urban fabric.

 Using the Open Space Framework iPD was then able to identify opportunities and constraints at each interface with open space, water system and infrastructure, develop an appropriate short and long term strategy to direct the design of the landscape reserve along the road.
